If there is an area of the island that shows its essence in a global way, that is the beautiful municipality of Pollença. Located in a privileged enclave in the Serra de Tramuntana, with different accesses to the sea, it has three marked population centers (Pollença, Port de Pollença and Cala Sant Vicenç) where we can discover both the rural and mountainous slopes of the island and the maritime
Thanks to its innumerable attractions, the town of Pollença is one of the most visited on the island at any time of the year. The reason? There is not only one: The typical Mallorcan architecture of its streets, houses and buildings; an impressive cultural and service offering that includes music festivals and numerous exhibitions; its traditional popular festivals; its gastronomy; the handicraft market on Sunday with its flower, fruit and vegetable stalls and an endless number of handmade products made on the island ... We recommend you to enjoy the atmosphere of its squares and visit some places like: Hermita del Calvari, the parish, the museum, the Pont Romà or Puig de Maria (from where we have a 360º view of the island). In addition, during these dates the procession of Good Friday takes place, one of the most beautiful in Mallorca.
A few kilometers away we find Port de Pollença, a privileged space next to the sea, very popular among sports people (cycling, sailing, kite, windsurfing ...) in the low season due to its beauty and tranquility. The town has a beautiful promenade where you can enjoy an important gastronomic offer and excellent beaches with crystal clear waters.
Cala Sant Vicenç is a tourist area that has three coves with crystal clear waters and several hotels and services. An ideal place to spend a day with the family and enjoy a delicious paella by the sea.
We can not finish without talking about Cap de Formentor, one of the most visited places on the island because of the spectacular beauty of the route that runs to its lighthouse. On the way we can stop at Mirador de Es Colomer, where we will enjoy spectacular views of the steep cliffs and all the splendor of the Mediterranean Sea.
