The Joan March Gardens

In the center of the village you can find these wonderful gardens in which you can still see a large medieval Gothic tower that was owned by one of the wealthy families of Pollensa. With a beautiful demonstration of native plants, we can also highlight the figure of Joan Mas, the hero of Pollensa who saved the Pollencines from the Arabs.

El Calvari

Description

The Calvari is a small mountain with an oratory located in Pollensa which can be accessed either by climbing its 365 steps or by vehicle on its road. The upper part dates from the late eighteenth century, and contains a Mare de Deu del Peu de la Creu dating from the thirteenth or fourteenth century.

Convento de Santo Domingo

Description

Built between 1588 and 1616, this convent has already served as a refuge for many different kinds of people and institutions. The Dominican monks lived in it until the confiscation of medium-sized S.XIX, and subsequently has been used as a barracks for the civil guard, school or museum. Today is the Pollensa Museum that was founded in 1975 and through which they have passed various exhibitions as well as all kinds of elements incorporated into the exhibition on a permanent basis.

Pollença

Pollensa is a municipality in the Balearic Islands, Spain. Located on the island of Mallorca, it is its northernmost territory, facing the municipality of Ciudadela on the island of Menorca to the east.

La Puebla, formerly known as Uialfás and La Puebla de Uialfás (officially and in Catalan Sa Pobla) is a municipality in the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands, Spain. Located on the island of Mallorca, in the Raiguer region.

Santa Margalida

Santa Margarita is a Mallorcan municipality belonging to the Pla de Mallorca region. It borders the municipalities of María de la Salud, Muro, Artá, Petra and Ariany. It has 11,207 inhabitants distributed between Santa Margarita and two other population centers (Can Picafort and Son Serra de Marina) belonging to the same municipality.

Can Picafort

Can Picafort is a coastal town in Mallorca, Balearic Islands, which belongs to the municipality of Santa Margarita. It is located in the bay of Alcudia about 10 kilometers from Santa Margarita, northeast of the city of Palma de Mallorca, on the north coast of the island.

Sineu

María de la Salud (in Catalan and officially Maria de la Salut) is a Spanish town and municipality of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands, located in the center of the island of Mallorca, in the Pla de Mallorca region and to the northwest From the capital. It borders the municipalities of Llubí, Santa Margarita, Ariany and Sinéu.

Sineu

Sinéu is located in the heart of the island of Mallorca, administratively forming part of the Mancomunidad del Pla, the Consell de Mallorca and the Government of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands, and historically and culturally forming part of the old Crown of Aragon, in the Pla de Mallorca region.
