Wall Medieval Alcúdia
Camí de Ronda, 35
One of the first visions we have upon arriving in Alcúdia is its impressive walls. The construction of the same goes back to the year 1298, when the King Jaime II decided that the Muslim farmhouse of Alcúdia was constituted in town and was the head of the parochial term. This decision responded to purely defensive and strategic needs. The construction of the walls began with their reign and ended during the reign of Pedro III of Aragon (El Ceremonioso) in 1362.
