In the center of town you can find these wonderful gardens in which you can still see a large medieval Gothic tower that was owned by one of the wealthy families of Pollensa. With a beautiful display of native plants, the figure of Joan Mas, the hero of Pollensa who saved the pollencines from the Arabs, should also be highlighted.

The Calvari

El Calvari is a small mountain with an oratory located in Pollensa which can be accessed both by climbing its 365 steps and by vehicle on the road. The upper part dates from the end of the 18th century, and contains a Mare de Déu del Peu de la Creu dating from the 13th or 14th century.

Santo Domingo Convent

Built between 1588 and 1616, this convent has already served as a refuge for many different classes of people and institutions. The Dominican monks lived in it until the confiscation in the middle of the 19th century, and later it has been used as a civil guard barracks, school or museum. Today there is the Museum of Pollensa that was founded in 1975 and through which various exhibitions have passed, as well as all kinds of elements permanently incorporated into the exhibition.

Roman bridge

The origin of this stone bridge that crosses the Sant Jordi stream is a mystery in the town of Pollença, since since the 19th century it has been known as the Pont Romà (Roman Bridge), although there is no evidence of its existence until the year 1403, when it was known as 'Puente de Cubelles'.

Today is the Pollensa Museum that was founded in 1975 and through which they have passed various exhibitions as well as all kinds of elements incorporated into the exhibition on a permanent basis.
