Located on the north coast of the island of Mallorca, in the bay that bears his name, we find Alcúdia. This bay, traditionally a summer resort for many Mallorcan people, has become one of the tourist areas par excellence thanks to its virgin coves of transparent waters surrounded by pine forests, to a natural environment of great value, to its archaeological sites and a delicious gastronomy.
The marina, with a large number of boats that characterize the landscape, the incredible beaches of fine sand and transparent water, the beautiful walled town or the Roman city of Pollentia make Alcúdia possess a very special charm.
Most of the historic center of Alcúdia is comprised of several manor houses with the typical architecture of the area, with Renaissance windows and adorned with shields. The town also has many interesting restaurants, terraces and shops.
It is essential to visit its market, which is held every Sunday and Tuesday at the bottom of the town walls.
For ornithological enthusiasts, the village is very close to the Albufera de Mallorca, a natural park where you can see more than two hundred species of birds throughout the year.
